From Idea to Box: How We Design Your Corrugated Packaging at C&H Letterpress

  • From Idea to Box: How We Design Your Corrugated Packaging at C&H Letterpress

  • In the world of custom packaging, a box can be much more than a simple container. It's a communication tool, a form of smart protection, and, above all, an extension of your brand identity. At C&H Letterpress, we believe every box has the potential to tell a story, which is why we accompany our clients throughout the entire process, from the initial idea to the finished box.

  • It all starts with a conversation. We want to understand your product, your vision, and your specific needs. Are you looking for a sturdy box for shipping? Or an elegant presentation for premium products? From that initial exchange, our design team creates a custom structural plan using CAD technology. This stage is key, as it allows us to build a functional and attractive structure that perfectly suits the contents you will be packaging. We consider every detail: the product's weight, its shape, how it will be transported, and how the customer is expected to interact with it upon opening.

  • Once the structural design is defined, we will select the most appropriate material for your project. In many cases, we recommend using E-flute or F-flute corrugated cardboard. E-flute is ideal for shipping boxes due to its strength, while F-flute offers a thinner, more streamlined profile, perfect for high-end packaging. We also offer different finishing styles such as Kraft, white on one or two sides, and even white on three sides for a completely uniform and sophisticated visual effect.
  • With the design and materials defined, we move on to print mounting. This is where your graphic design comes to life. We use high-quality printed sheets, which we carefully mount onto the corrugated cardboard, either on one side or both, depending on the style you desire. This step ensures vibrant colors, sharp details, and a faithful representation of your visual identity.

  • After assembly, it's time for die-cutting, folding, and gluing. Our team cuts each box precisely, following the CAD design lines, and apply folding or gluing where required. This ensures that each unit has a professional finish and is easy to assemble or deliver pre-assembled if you prefer.

  • Finally, to give your packaging a unique touch, we offer a variety of special finishes. You can opt for UV coatings—glossy, matte, satin, or even textures and effects like glitter —as well as metallic or holographic foil printing, embossing, or debossing. These details not only enhance the packaging but also transform it into a sensorial experience, elevating the perceived quality of your product.

  • At C&H Letterpress, each box is the result of a close collaboration between our team and the client. We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive process that combines technology, craftsmanship, and personalized service. Whether you need a box to protect, stand out, or excite, we can help you turn your vision into a tangible, functional, and memorable reality.
  • If you're ready to transform your packaging into a powerful branding tool, contact us. We'd be happy to begin this process with you.
