Hot Foil Stamping
Hot foil stamping transfers a metallic or pigment layer to the sheet with heat and pressure. It produces a bright, opaque finish that ink cannot reproduce, on coated and uncoated stocks, board and dark sheets.
C&H runs foil on three automatic 28" × 40" platforms and a range of hand-fed and small-format presses. That covers long-run packaging and covers as well as short runs, heavy stock and tight-register detail work.
Foil is often combined with embossing in one hit, or registered to print, die cuts and UV. Planning the order of operations up front is what keeps registration tight across processes.
